Do all apple watch bands fit all watches?

Unfortunately, Apple Watch bands aren't universal. Apple Watch Series 7 will be announced soon, almost certainly on Tuesday, September 14 (here's why). However, just like all previous bands fit the Apple Watch Series 7, these 41mm and 45mm straps are compatible with previous watches. I think it's much more likely that there are some new bands designed for Series 7 where backward compatibility only goes as far as Series 4, such as Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop.

That means that a strap on a Series 3 watch could be noticeably too small for Series 7, since a 3 mm difference between 42 mm and 45 mm could be a bridge too far. With the variety of band sizes, you don't have to worry about the length or fit of the band depending on the size of the Apple Watch screen. Apple-branded sports straps and loops designed to mimic them can usually be interchanged with each other, as long as you make sure you have the correct pairing for the band to connect. We saw reports that the edges of the Apple Watch case would be flat, similar to the current crop of iPhones.

Bring gaming on your iPhone or Apple TV closer to the console experience with one of these game controllers with your Apple devices. Since the older Series 3 bands fit all Series 6 and SE, Apple Watch fans have plenty of straps. Recall that only four versions of the Apple Watch have the current dimensions, Series 4, Series 5, Series 6 and SE. So, that means Apple has to make new straps that are compatible with at least the SE or make straps that will only work for this year's models, once again unlikely to the point of being unthinkable.

With the Apple Watch coming in so many different case sizes, it's no wonder people get confused as to which of the different watch bands will fit the watch they have. Apple Watch models with 40mm and 41mm diameter straps can be equipped with individual loop straps in sizes one to nine, while models with 44mm and 45mm diameter straps can be equipped with straps from four to twelve. Usually, any watch band will be compatible with any Apple Watch, however, there are some differences in which Apple Watch band you can use depending on whether you have opted for the large or small version of your Apple Watch generation. When looking for new Apple Watch bands, the most important detail you'll need to do well is the size of the band.

The watch comes in a new case size of 41 mm and 45 mm, moving away from the 40 mm and 44 mm size that has been the standard of the last generations of Apple Watch.
