The new bracelet sizes are also compatible with older watch models. We've combined the new 41mm Solo Loop in English Lavender with the 40mm Series 6 in aluminum (blue), as well as the new Nike Sport Loop 45mm in black with the Apple Watch SE 44mm in black aluminum. There are no restrictions on the Watch series or editions that can be used with each watch band. All Apple watches have the same connector size and shape.

This means that Apple Watch bands are not compatible with any other brand of smartwatches. That's because Apple designs its straps to only fit Apple's Most other smartwatch straps universally use a quick-release lug style. While Apple Watch has been around for many years, Apple has maintained the same ear design every year. Older bands that fit the 40mm Apple Watch Series 6 will fit Series 7, and the 44mm straps will fit the new 45mm size.

Remember that since all bands will be compatible with the new Apple Watch, there is no reason to wait for the launch of Apple Watch Series 7 to buy new bands if you are looking for a new look. Although it wasn't the redesign that many thought it would be, the Apple Watch Series 7 looks slightly different from last year's model. More than a year ago, Apple announced plans to search for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) with the release of iOS 15.2.Apple Watch models with 40mm and 41mm diameter straps can be equipped with individual loop straps in sizes one to nine, while models with 44mm and 45mm diameter straps can be equipped with straps from four to twelve. Leaks and conflicting rumors prior to the presentation suggested that the new 41mm and 45mm Apple Watches would therefore require new straps.

If the strap is properly installed, it will not slide freely until you hold down the strap release button. Apple Watch Series 7 has approximately 20% more screen area than last year's Series 6, and the bezels are 40% thinner. If you have an older Apple Watch Series 0, 1, 2 or 3, your bands should be for the 38mm or 42mm case. The Apple Watch band is adjustable, however, the size of the case is crucial before purchasing.

However, just like all previous bands fit the Apple Watch Series 7, these 41mm and 45mm straps are compatible with previous watches. This is the watch band you should buy if you like to wear your Apple Watch to formal events or work and feel that a standard rubber band isn't quite suitable. Apple Watch Series 4, Series 5, and Series 6 come in 40mm and 44mm case sizes, so they're the same. Apple Watch Series 6 has an always-on display that's brighter than before, so you don't need to make that awkward wrist movement to see the time.
